INDUSTRIAL PRE-TREATMENT COORDINATOR

Vacancy: Pre-Treatment Coordinator
Hours of Work: M-F 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Opening Date: Monday, February 8, 2016

Beginning Pay Range: $38,750 – $51,670 (Dependent upon Qualifications)

Under limited supervision, coordinate, direct and manages the Chester Sewer District’s Industrial Pretreatment Program, Environmental Services and Monitoring Laboratory, and provides the Executive Director and WWTP Superintendents and operators with the research and control testing data necessary for determining the efficiency and effectiveness of chemical and biological wastewater treatment processes.  Performs related professional, administrative and technical work as required.

General Statement of Job Duties

The general responsibilities of the Chester Sewer District (CSD) Finance Analyst and Manager, under limited supervision, include planning, directing and overseeing the daily activities of the accounting functions for the CSD.  Additional duties include financial reporting, general ledger accounting, payroll activities, accounts payable activities, maintaining cash and investments information, data mining and compliance testing, etc.; to perform a variety of complex professional, administrative, technical accounting and finance functions involved in maintaining the fiscal records and systems of CSD; and to advise the Executive Director in the oversight of CSD financial affairs.
