GREAT FALLS WATERLINE REPLACEMENT PROJECT
The Great Falls Waterline replacement project is nearing completion.
All that remains is to finish cutting off the old lines.
This has been a difficult project due to budget and time constraints.
The Board of Commissioners and the district's administrative staff were forced to choose between a public-friendly project, or using our limited resources to replace every deteriorated waterline.
We chose the latter because we believe it is in our customers best interest to replace all of the old waterlines now and avoid potential health risks in the future.
The result will be cleaner, fresher water with increased flow and pressure.
